Have to go into new part of hotel which is about 20 years old not in keeping with the hotel at all basically it's two separate places bar is horrid and modern restaurant is like a motorway service station/secondary school. if fact it all is lunch time food basic self service . In the evening though it was a little better food was nice and tasty and staff very nice . The spa treatments were good staff very professional but again it's all looking very tired now . We stayed in the old hall in a suite would recommend that even though the shower is cold no hot water . The staff are a credit to the hotel needs some investment the staff can only work with the tools they have. Who ever the articect is for the extension needs to look for another job think he only designs motorway service stations which I am afraid this is .just had breakfast in the restaurant very nice everything you could want from a hotel full English was very tasty and fresh staff great and attentive .
